On Friday the 19 Dec all the children in our Clonmel crèche put on a Christmas concert for all their parents. We started practising in October to make sure all the children new the words and actions on the day. The children were just amazing and only 1 or 2 got stage fright on the day. Thank you to all our parents who came to celebrate with us. A big thank you to all our staff who helped both by getting the children ready for the big day and the hours and hours of singing Rudolph the red nose reindeer and also for the great work on the day. We also have to thank Kevin O'Donnell Photography for taking all the amazing pictures. A special big thank you to Santa who took extra time out of his very busy schedule to meet with all our boys and girls.

We had great fun today making Santa's chimney. It is now sitting proudly in entrance, great work Kim.
Santa was spotted flying over Longfield Academy this morning! Making sure all presents will be delivered :) Annemarie from Clonmel Library organised to come and do storytime. All our children big and small brought in a Teddy Bear to go on a Bear Hunt. We had such a good time acting out our story and the children really enjoyed having someone come in to read to them. We even managed to recruit a new member to our Team, Neddy Bear did a terrific job and doesn't he look smashing in his new uniform..... We are having such lovely weather at the moment that the children are getting to enjoy a lot of outdoor play in our Clonmel crèche. With leaves still falling down we decided to wrap up warm and take advantage of the lovely crisp mornings. We all had such good fun throwing leaves up in the air and watching them floating down. We are all just waiting on the snow so we can build our own little Olaf! |
